Creating a space that’s similar to a hostel yet coworking space. From our research, we found several around the globe but not so much in North America. Our challenge was to make this idea of a coworking space that you can stay at more approachable.
After further research we discovered that consumers here are not attracted by the idea of sleeping in confined spaces. We then decided to create a hostel space with the idea of traveling employees, freelancers, and entrepreneurs. Visitors that stay have access to a single desk, meeting room, and a conference room. With the exception amenities and services of competing coworking spaces hostels, we believe this would be a good competitor with hotels and hostels.
We were inspired by google hardware design and the spaces they created for their products. Their intention was to have the products live seamless with the environment and not stand out. We admire their values and wanted to create a living space inspired by it. The concept of man living with nature has been an ongoing theme. From birchwood tabletops to green plants with natural light.
