Self-Checkout is becoming common in fast food restaurants. Creating a faster and efficient dining experience. However, how would a kiosk work in a ramen bar?
Inspired by the coin-operated kiosks in Japan, HOSO Ramen takes a fresh direction by using an automated system. Everything is taken care of from the booth.
The process of the mindmap is finding connections between ramen, the automation, and the theme of neon. From that it branched into different possibilities of names. Upon further research, learning about the importance of the thick/thin noodle became the idea surrounding the name.
